Madre’s cartridges are accessible across California and are a wonderful addition to the diverse variety of pre-filled vape oil cartridges at my local dispensary. Madre’s packaging appealed to me because of its eco-friendly and leaf-inspired appearance. I liked the design option of including a wood tip with the glass cartridge. Wood tips were chosen for their soft feel and cooling properties after heating the tank.

The Strawberry Cough sativa combination had a strong, delicious strawberry fragrance. Madre describes this strain as a “potent sativa blend great for managing social anxieties and balancing stress.” I felt invigorated and concentrated after consuming a few berry-flavored doses. Best of all, it contains 74.03% THC, 0.25% CBD, and 1.77% CBN. Strawberry Cough produces a pleasant mental buzz and a rush of exhilaration.

The half-gram Girl Scouts Cookie cartridge was delightfully minty with slightly earthy undertones. Madre defines this strain as “perfect for patients looking for relief from severe pain or nausea.” I don’t suffer from severe pain or nausea, but after a few draws from the GSC cartridge, I felt calm. This cartridge has 70.02% THC, 0.35% CBD, and 1.92% CBN. I liked the well-balanced effects of this popular hybrid strain.

Madre extracts medicinal cannabinoids like as THC, CBD, and CBN using CO2 extraction processes before infusing them into 500 or 1,000-mg cartridges. Aside from the strains I purchased, they also sell Sativas (Maui Wowie, Sour Tangie), Hybrids (Rosewater, Sangria 1:1), and Indicas (Watermelon Kush, Blueberry, Gorilla Glue #4, Holy Grail). Overall, I liked the tastes of the Girl Scout Cookies and Strawberry Cough strains. I’m interested in trying their other limited edition strains, such as Hemp-Derived CBD (Jasmine Green Tea and Zen) and Honey Lavender. In terms of flavor, they are neither overpowering nor overly subtle. The wood tip was a wonderful addition to an already elegant cartridge. Madre’s premium oil cartridges offer the most value for the money.
